Zhang Hongbiao gave China and global LED packaging output data in the report: In 2010, China's LED industry scale was 126 billion yuan, of which the upstream industry output value was 4 billion yuan, accounting for 2%; the downstream industry output value was 95 billion yuan, accounting for about 70%; and the output value of the midstream packaging industry has reached 27 billion yuan, accounting for about 28%.

In 2010, the output value of global LED packaging was 85.8 billion, China’s output value was 27 billion RMB, accounting for 31%, Japan’s production value was 22.1 billion RMB, accounting for 26%, Korea’s output value was 11.9 billion RMB, accounting for 14%, and Taiwan’s output value was 10.3 billion RMB. It accounts for 12%, European production value is 10.4 billion RMB, accounting for 12%, and output value in other regions is 3.9 billion RMB, accounting for 5%, showing that China has become a global LED packaging power.

In the report, Zhang Hongbiao made bold predictions about the LED packaging industry in the next three years: In 2011, due to the huge drop in LED prices, China's LED packaging output value will reach 35 billion, and 2012 this data will be strongly increased to 55 billion, due to the global next year The development of the lighting market will be more objective, and the packaging industry of large foreign companies will accelerate the transfer to mainland China; by 2013, this figure may reach 64 billion.

In terms of regional distribution of LED packaging companies in China, the Pearl River Delta is still firmly in the lead, accounting for 68% of the total, while the Yangtze River Delta accounts for 16%, Fujian, Jiangxi, accounting for 5%, the northern region accounts for 8%, other southern regions 3%. With regard to the listing of LED packaging companies, there have been four listed companies, and more than 50 companies have completed stock reforms, and more packaging companies are seeking listings. Speaking of the LED industry investment status, Zhang Hongbiao said that in the first four months of 2011, China's LED industry added 80 new projects, with an investment of 4.5 billion yuan, of which SMD and lighting LEDs have become the focus of investment, the report is expected to invest in the packaging industry in 2011 Will exceed 10 billion.
