Youku integrates Nokia OZO solution to promote VR ecological development

Since Nokia introduced professional-grade VR camera OZO in 2015, Nokia has also gradually adopted a series of measures to carry out ecological construction. Nokia officially launched the OZO Player SDK. The player software supports a variety of VR video formats, allowing VR content creators to create format files compatible with mainstream VR platforms such as Gear VR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Google Cartridge, and Daydream so that creators can more easily distribute VR content.

Now Nokia announced cooperation with Youku, a video portal that allows Youku users and content creators to experience and share high-quality VR content, including native recorded spatial audio, with Nokia OZO VR solutions.

Youku is the first Chinese content producer and distributor to integrate the entire Nokia OZO solution (including OZO Player SDK and OZO Audio). In addition, VR content creators can use OZO Camera, OZO Software Suite, and OZO Live to create and distribute VR content, which will include movies, TV dramas, news, and documentaries.

It is understood that youku has 500 million monthly active users, with more than 1.1 billion daily page views. Believe this cooperation, VR content audience will be wider.
