Press the shutter when hands-free photography blinks

A Japanese R&D team has recently made hands-free photography easier than ever – at least for those wearing glasses. The Blincam they developed is a camera attached to the glasses that presses the shutter when you blink.

With patent-pending sensor technology, Blincam can distinguish between natural and deliberate blinking movements. When the user's intentional blink is detected, they are pressed to press the shutter. With the built-in Bluetooth function, pictures taken by Blincam will be synchronized with the paired phones.

It can be seen that Blincam is very similar to Google Glass released in 2013. The latter also allows users to take photos and videos in a hidden way, which also raises privacy concerns. For Blincam, this is also a problem that it needs to solve.
