Firefox market share exceeds 20%, IE browser falls below 70%

On July 31st, foreign media reported that according to NetApplicaTIons data, the market share of the Firefox browser has exceeded 20%, while the IE browser has fallen below 70%.

NetApplicaTIons data is more based on the browser brand users use every day and may be somewhat volatile. But the overall trend is obvious, IE browser share is gradually declining, while Firefox is increasing.

Throughout June, Firefox's average market share was 19.27%, up from 18.41% in May. The average market share of IE dropped to 72.95% from 73.75% in May.

According to the latest data from NetApplicaTIons, Firefox ’s market share today has reached 20.68% ((13.75% for Firefox 2 and 6.92% for Firefox 3), while IE has dropped to 69.88%. Driven by the new Firefox 3 browser, analysts It is believed that the market share of Firefox can be maintained at more than 20% for a long time.
