Softbank "Internet of Things" strategic robot Pepper will land in Taiwan this year
Softbank last year launched the humanoid robot Pepper, which announced that Pepper will land in Taiwan this year. Taiwan will also become the second market for Pepper after Japan. Pepper Robot is manufactured by Foxconn, a subsidiary of Taiwanese company Hon Hai. Softbank plans to lease 100 Peppers to local banks and stores. Foxconn's Perobot division will be responsible for Pepper's sales and maintenance in Taiwan.
