Hella will introduce new regulators and voltage converters

German automotive electronics supplier Hella recently announced that it is developing two new energy-management products to improve the performance of automotive electronic systems. Both products are regulators and DC/DC converters.

Hella's regulator is the main component of the fuel economy system and engine start-stop system. The regulator can provide a constant voltage for certain loads in the system that require a stable voltage, such as navigation displays, lighting, or radios.

Hella's bi-directional DC/DC converter links the power supply to two different voltages. When the engine needs to output different power, the converter starts controlling the output.

Hella Corporation develops and produces lamps, electronic components and systems for the automotive industry. The company’s joint venture also produces complete automotive modules, air conditioning systems and automotive electronics systems.
