Tongxin Microelectronics releases anti-breaking sound class D audio amplifier chip GSI8166

Tongxin Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. released the first class D audio amplifier chip GSI8166 with 2x3W stereo and anti-breaking function.

In the case of 4Ω load and 5V power supply, it can achieve 3W X 2 output power and more than 85% conversion efficiency. GSI8166 adopts the unique ESF (EMI Suppression FuncTIon) technology and structure of Tongxin Microelectronics, so it greatly reduces EMI and thus reduces the interference of the class D amplifier on the system. Advanced anti-breaking technology enables the chip itself to achieve automatic gain adjustment to ensure perfect sound quality when playing music. GSI8166 has up to -75dB PSRR, THD + N as low as 0.04% and 95dB SNR. GSI8166 is available in 20L QFN / TSSOP package. It can be widely used in mobile phones, DVD players, notebooks, digital photo frames and speakers. GSI8166 has been officially mass-produced, and has now accepted orders and samples.
