Shenzhen launched the country's first LED street light public beta project

On July 5, the Shenzhen LED Street Light Beta Project Launch Conference announced that the country's first LED streetlight beta project was officially launched from the same day. The issue of LED streetlight performance will have an authoritative conclusion in January next year.

As early as December 2010, Shenzhen Nanshan District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau officially established the “2010 Shenzhen LED Street Light Public Test” as an industrial alliance cooperative R&D project, and was implemented by Shenzhen Nanshan Technology Office LED Industry-University Research Alliance.

After extensive and rigorous screening, four LED companies, including Lehman Optoelectronics, were selected for testing. The public beta time is from July to January 2013. During the public beta period, each of the four LED companies selected 7 LED street lights for testing at Bailixin Industrial Park, Xili Baimanguan, Nanshan District. The test was carried out by Shenzhen Institute of Metrology and Quality Inspection.
