South Korea plans to popularize organic light-emitting diodes in 2013

The Ministry of Knowledge Economy said on the 5th that South Korea will invest 30 billion won to popularize organic light-emitting diode (OLED) lighting in ordinary Korean homes by 2013. Among them, the Korean government will invest 20 billion won to support enterprises in the research and development of OLED technology, and the Korea Electronic Components Research Institute and the Production Technology Research Institute will invest 9.3 billion won in industrial infrastructure.
