Apple bans sale of Motorola Android devices in Germany

Apple bans sale of Motorola Android devices in Germany March 2 news, according to science and technology website BGR reports, Apple on Thursday won in Germany for all Motorola mobile Android devices ban.

Germany's Munich magistrate Peter Guntz ruled that Motorola Mobile infringed on Apple’s patented technology called Photo Management of Portable Electronic Devices.

If Apple implements this ban, it can ask Motorola to destroy or recall all infringing products. Apple sued Samsung for the same patent before, but Samsung modified the relevant code of the infringing product to avoid being banned in the Netherlands.

Motorola Mobile said: “The Munich District Court ruled today that some of the company’s products infringe Apple’s patents. This is a software feature that 'magnifies' photos on mobile devices. We’ve protested to the courts and our products have not Infringement of related patents. In addition, we expect that the court's ruling will not affect the final sales of the product because we have updated the function of viewing photos and the new operation will not affect the user experience."
