Microsoft is confident that 100,000 applications will be available within 3 months after the release of WIN8

The application of Windows 8 "Modern" interface is significantly different from any traditional Windows application. The biggest difference is that the distribution of applications is mostly through the Windows Store. Microsoft is full of confidence. After Windows 8 RTM there are currently more than 3,000 applications on the Store, and how much will this number reach after the official release? Keith Lorizio, Microsoft's vice president of marketing and sales, told us that we can see 100,000 applications in just 90 days.
