New Apple iPhone X Vulnerability Allows Hackers to Recover Deleted Photos or Files

Two hackers named Richard Zhu and Amat Cama found a bug in the iPhone X and won $50,000 in a competition to find bugs in Android and iOS, The Verge reported.

According to reports, the two hackers discovered a vulnerability that can recover recently deleted photos or files on the iPhone X, and showed a related demo in the competition. According to reports, the vulnerability has been reported to Apple, but until Apple rolls out a new version of the system update, the vulnerability can still be exploited.

The flaw in the iPhone X, discovered by two hackers, is a JIT compiler flaw that allows an attacker to retrieve recently deleted files if the compiler is compromised. In theory, any data processed by a JIT compiler could be vulnerable.
