1. After the window display starts STEP7-Micro/WIN, it will enter the application window of the software (see Figure 12-1.2).
The main contents of the window display are as follows:
(l) The first action title bar of the title bar display area is used to display the title of the current program. When a program is opened or created, the title bar shows the name of the program currently being edited (Project1 in Figure 12-1.2).
(2) The second behavior menu bar of the menu bar display area, the menu bar is composed of File, Edit, View, plc, Debug, Tools, Windows, Help (Help) and other 8 groups of main menus, each group of main menus contains a set of commands, enter the menu and click the corresponding command to perform the selected operation. Through the corresponding commands in the menu bar, you can realize file management, object editing, programming language selection, window arrangement, environment setting, PLC connection, program download or open tool command and help function.
(3) The third behavior toolbar of the toolbar display area, the toolbar is composed of a plurality of tool buttons, and the function of the toolbar is to set the common operations to the main window by means of buttons. In addition to the standard tool buttons such as regular file opening, saving, printing, and print preview, the toolbar also has functions such as logical symbol editor, window transformation, and communication parameter setting. You can view or hide the above four toolbars by viewing the Toolbars from the main menu and selecting the Standard, Debug, Comment, and Instruction options.

(4) Editing area The largest area in the middle of the display area is the program editing area. Normally, the area is browsed from left to right in the area, the instruction tree, the program editor 3 parts, and the lower part is the output window. You can view or hide the above three display areas by viewing the View from the main menu and selecting the Navigation Bar, Instruction Tree, and Output Windows options.
In the Navigation Bar area, click on the corresponding icon, such as Program Block, SymbolTable, Status Chart, Data Block System Block, Cross Quote (Cross
Reference), communication, etc., can quickly switch the display window.
In the Instruction Tree area, you can select and open program editing commands by double-clicking the corresponding folder option. For example, the program structure and program block can be performed by double-clicking the Program Block folder option. Display and Edit (Add/Remove Blocks): You can sort and display various commands for PLC program editing by double-clicking the Instruction folder option.
The program editor area is the input area of ​​the PLC user program for input and editing of the program. For details, please refer to the relevant content in the program editing section of this section.
(5) The lowermost part of the output window display area is the output window (Output Windows). In the output window area, the compiled result of the input PLC program, the size of the block, the error position and the error code can be displayed.
