3DMark theory test:

In addition to the two FireStrike Ultra & Extreme tests that we commonly use, the 3DMark theory test section added 3DMark's latest DirectX 12 benchmark test for game PCs, aiming to bring you a more comprehensive reference.

As a commercially available non-public GTX1080 product, Sotec GTX1080 PGF has performed well without manual overclocking! It's natural to see what the guys are running for. It doesn't have to be too tangled with this; the theme of this issue is water cooling. We naturally want to see the maximum temperature of the graphics card and the 3DMark stress test.

When running the 3DMark theory test, we used GPU-Z to record everything in the background. It can be seen that at full load, the highest frequency of Boost is up to 2 GHz, while the core maximum temperature of Sotec GTX1080 PGF is only 45°C! It can be said that the performance of water cooling is very touching!

Of course, how can such a touching temperature performance not be overclocked?

After a simple overclocking using Sotec's own FireStorm overclocking tool, we again performed a 3DMark theoretical run. The results are as follows.

At the same time, we still use GPU-Z to record everything in the background.

It can be seen that after overclocking, the Boost frequency goes up to 2138.5MHz, which is 139MHz higher than the highest Boost frequency of 1999.5MHz before overclocking. At this time, the maximum temperature of the graphics core is still only 44°C, and the temperature before overclocking is basically the same. No difference, the temperature performance is very satisfactory! This shows that in such a water-cooled cooling system, heat dissipation is no longer a bottleneck to this card overclocking!
